This new class is designed for adults of all fitness levels who are interested in improving their fitness for a better quality of life. The goals of the class are to improve the strength/bone health, balance/stability, and flexibility/range of motion of its participants through weight training, balance work and stretches.  Becky offers a variety of different exercises and modifications for clients recovering from injuries or just getting back into fitness.

Strength Training and Tennis Conditioning - Group Fitness Class

Tuesdays & Thursdays ~ 9:30am-10:30am In the ballroom

This class is for clients with at least a basic level of fitness that want to improve their performance both on and off the tennis court.  The goals of the class are to improve strength/endurance, cardio health/bone health, agility/quickness, balance/stability, and the flexibility/range of motion of its participants.  A wide variety of equipment is used including weights, sand balls, ladders, cones, tennis balls, bands, and body weight and exercises change regularly.

Both classes are led by Becky Chasse, an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.  Becky takes client safety very seriously. Class participants are shown proper techniques for exercises and encouraged to ask questions.  She offers progressions and regressions for exercises that seem too easy or too difficult. She fosters a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where participants work hard and have fun while working out.  In September, Becky celebrated her 400th class taught at ITC by hosting a pickleball gathering with her clients!
