USTA League play has exploded in popularity. The Irvington Club is proud to have numerous teams take part in USTA League play and encourages members to participate. City League

Greater Portland City League Tennis is a non-profit organization designed to promote the game of tennis, encourage friendships and good sportsmanship among players, and to help increase the use of tennis facilities throughout the Portland metro area. The City League season begins in September and ends in May. The Irvington Club currently has 4 City League teams – B, F, H and K.

 

World Team Tennis

World Team Tennis co-ed teams compete in a format consisting of 6 no-ad sets. One set each of men’s and women’s doubles followed men’s and women’s singles and ending with two sets of mixed doubles. Total games won over all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed.
